I work from an integrated approach, psychodynamic/person centred which I tailor to meet the needs of each individual so they can get the best possible service and experience from their counselling. I can work short term solution focused or longer term depending on the presenting problem.
I also have a wealth of experience working with children and young people including those with ASD, ADHD and behavioural problems. My approach can be tailored to include creative therapy, CBT and systemic practice.I currently manage a children and young peoples counselling service, which includes schools counselling and psycho educational programmes to engage young people and their parents.
I have worked in the health and social care sector for 16 years with people at all stages of life and varying needs. After years of training in counselling I feel that it is a privilege to see the change that clients can make for themselves through our therapeutic alliance.
