Hi, I am a fully qualified and experienced Person-Centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist, providing a warm, confidential and professional counselling service for adults, children and young people. I have practice venues based in Haywards Heath and Uckfield and also provide counselling in schools and colleges.
My work, training and personal experience has shown me that people grow through supportive and caring relationships and that the healing of deep wounds is possible.
Therapy can be challenging but can also be rewarding. At the heart of my practice is a prizing of the individual, an acceptance of and respect for the path that is right for you. Everybody goes through difficulties in life and my aim is to help you feel a little less alone in those times. Whether short or long term, we can work together to explore and alleviate any issues which are causing you difficulty and preventing you from moving forward. I am committed to nurturing change and will endeavour to be as real and open as I can, whilst also bringing the knowledge and skills from my training and experience, to provide insight and alternative ways of approaching the issues you bring.
Sometimes words are not quite enough to express the depth of your experience. At times like these, if you would like to, we can work creatively to explore something you are struggling with. This could include making art, working with figures, or images from around the room, writing or anything else that feels like it could help.
