Profile
I am a Therapeutic Counsellor and I offer both short and long term therapy. I believe everyone is on a journey and we may at some point go through the following emotions; stress, anger, frustration, grief, fear, confusion, anxiety and many more. I will encourage people to open up and support you through your journey with the difficult times and the struggle through these emotions.
I have a high level of experience working with people facing life difficulties/challenges, particularly with ethnic minorities groups as well as the wider community. Throughout my career and volunteer work I have learnt to work as a strict professional, maintaining and adhering to confidentiality procedures and ethics. I am here to listen to what you have to say because I feel that we all need to be heard. Throughout the journey of counseling I will help by encouraging you to reflect on your life and gain self awareness.
I will help you understand that the past and life events will have an impact on you, BUT this doesn’t stop the journey. I will use this to empower you to see this as a lesson that has enlightened your future.
