5 Staple Inn
I work Psychodynamically and offer a variable fee.
The first meeting is free and after fifty minutes where you say why you want to come and why now, you can go away and think about things we discuss.
You can also decide if I'm the person you want to continue to see and if you want to come regularly we can decide on a time each week and a fee that will be due for each session. If you give 24 hours notice of not being able to come you will not be charged.
Training, qualifications & experience
Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Studies 2007
My background is in Nursing and Midwifery and I am a founder member of Maison Verte-UK which opened in Finsbury Park in September 2013.
Maison Verte was founded in France in 1979 by the eminent paediatrician and psychoanalyst Francoise Dolto and has at heart the subjectivity of the child. There are many similar spaces for pregnant women, babies and pre-school children (accompanied by an adult) now spread throughout the world. Maison Verte-UK is the first of this kind of space in the UK.
Becoming a subject as an adult can be a slow tedious and often painful way of becoming who you really are and knowing what it is you really want. Working psychodynamically you may be able to get a hold of yourself in a way that allows you to know why you're suffering, and possibly do something to change that.
My training was with adults and is ongoing, as with all professional work there are always new and interesting discoveries to learn about being human.
