I am an accredited cognitive behaviour therapist (BABCP) and a registered member with BACP as a psychodynamic counsellor. I currently work both in the private sector and in the National Health Service. In the National Health Service, my role includes delivering individual therapy to clients presenting with depression and/or anxiety as well as supervising other therapists.
I also hold a diploma in Addiction counselling and have experience of working with people addicted to drugs and alcohol both in statutory and non-statutory organisations.Having qualifications and experience of working with different modalities enables me to offer clients the most appropriate therapy tailored to their needs.
I do not try to 'fit' clients into a particular modality.
My area of expertise is working with clients presenting with depression, anxiety disorders like social anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, agoraphobia, vomit phobia, generalised anxiety disorder, relationship difficulties, family conflicts and addiction problems.
