About me

Feeling like life's throwing you curveballs? Whether you're caught in the whirlwind of personal challenges, wrestling with the complexities of relationships, or grappling with the weight of loss, I'm here to be your guide through the storm toward healing and transformation.

Stepping into counseling might feel like diving into the unknown, but fear not! I offer a sanctuary of warmth, empathy, and professionalism where you can shed your worries and let your guard down without fear of judgment. Together, we'll embark on an expedition into the depths of your psyche, unraveling the intricate tapestry of your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions using the psychodynamic approach. By excavating these hidden layers, we'll unearth patterns, cultivate self-awareness, and illuminate the shadows of past experiences that shape your present reality.

When it comes to relationships and couple work, I believe in an eclectic fusion of therapeutic approaches, weaving together threads of psychodynamic insight, attachment theories, and neuroscience. This multidimensional approach allows us to tackle communication barriers, nurture intimacy, and confront the myriad challenges that arise in the dance of human connection.

My passion lies in supporting individuals and couples navigating the turbulent waters of fertility treatments, miscarriage, and pregnancy complications, offering a beacon of hope amidst the storm. Moreover, I'm equipped to address a plethora of relationship woes, from sexual difficulties to breakdowns in communication, guiding you toward a brighter, more harmonious future together.

So, if you're ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery, growth, and resilience, take my hand, and let's navigate the tumultuous seas of life together.

I offer short term (12-24 sessions) more goal oriented or open ended therapy depending on your needs.

I am an accredited member of BACP with 10+ years of experience working with adult clients.

I am a Bupa, Cigna, AXA, Aviva, WPA and Vitality registered/recognised therapist.

Registered / Accredited

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
