I am a qualified counsellor, BACP accredited with 15 years of counselling experience and 9 years of working as a qualified counselling supervisor. I practice CBT skills,  solution focused brief therapy, use integrative and humanistic approach to fit in with your individual need according to BACP ethical framework.

Are you experiencing problems or painful issues? Do you need to free your mind by talking in confidence, in a safe environment and without being judged. I can help and support you in managing anger, anxiety, loss/bereavement, eating disorders, depression, divorce, PTSD, stress, relationship difficulties, family conflicts and many other  problems. We can find a way of working through the problems together to enable you to cope and manage them.
Counselling allows you the opportunity to talk and to be heard by somebody who is not involved in your life, who can provide understanding and support. This can ease your pain and help you to cope with your problematic situation better.

I have counselling experience of working in private practice, for organisations, for different companies and in GP surgeries dealing with variety of problems mentioned above, including health related issues and cultural issues. My experience comes from caring/working with clients suffering from various illnesses and traumas either in hospital/home settings and supporting their families. I have provided loss/bereavement counselling support to children in their schools and home environment. I also have 10 years experience of caring for children and young adults with hearing impairment and other complex needs.

Reduced rate for the Initial first session £20 for individuals and £30 for couples for 1 hour

Following this the below rates apply;

Individual counselling- £35 for 1 hour session

Couples counselling - £45 for 1 hour session

Telephone counselling - £25 for 1 hour session.

Appointments: Week day mornings, afternoons, evenings and Saturday mornings.

LOCATION. Counselling room is in Stockport at Houldsworth Mill which is a Grad II listed building, close to the heart of Stockport with excellent transport link to M60 and Central Manchester. By bus from Manchester city centre take bus 42A, which stops directly outside the mill.  From Stockport bus station, bus 173 and 373 both stop directly outside the mill. Please recheck times and the buses at the station
