About me

Hello, my name is Nina Grant.  I work with both adults and children, exploring the issues that might be getting in the way of living and learning.

Counselling is a way of providing a space to look at one's life from a different perspective. with the help of a trained professional.  Gestalt counselling is a holistic approach that looks at the whole - mind, body, spirit - It is about raising awareness, making contact, and seeing the connections to the past.

I enter wholeheartedly into the therapeutic relationship and and see it as a journey we take together.  I bring focus and curiosity to events, and through this exploration,  make the connections that will enable change to happen.

I work in 2 locations in North London, Muswell Hill and Camden and also online and telephone.

Please contact me to discuss your needs and we can arrange a consultation session to see how it might be to work with me and if what I can offer feels right for you.

I have worked with adults and children on a range of issues that have included:

  • anxiety
  • change and transitions
  • separations /attachment difficulties
  • bereavement and loss
  • traumatic events
  • learning difficulties
  • parenting conflicts
  • relationship difficulties

Training, qualifications & experience

My training includes:

  • postgrad diploma in Counselling at The Gestalt Centre
  • postgrad diploma in Educational Psychotherapy at The Caspari Foundation
  • certificate in The Therapeutic Use of the Arts at The Institute for Arts and Therapy in Education

I am UKCP registered.

In the last 7 years I have worked in schools as an outreach therapist for the Caspari Foundation seeing individual children and I have worked with adult clients at my private practice in Finsbury Park and at The Gestalt Centre, Camden.
