Counselling is a powerful tool for change, growth, or healing. I believe we all have individual needs and perspectives, so the most important aspect of my therapeutic approach is the relationship between the client and the counsellor. It is a strong foundation for growth, and can make all the difference to making your counselling journey a positive and helpful experience.
As an integrative therapist, I draw upon many different approaches. I would say my main approach is based on the core values of Person Centred therapy combined with Transactional Analyses. I will offer a trusting relationship where, together, we can explore your world freely without judgement or prejudice. You already have the answers; my role is to help you find them.
I’ve worked with a very wide range of people, including adults of all ages, adult and young carers, families, and ex-offenders across Devon and Somerset. I can offer you individual therapy, or group therapy for families or couples. Wherever you are in your life right now, we will work together to move you towards your goal. If you would like to know more about my approach and set up an initial informal meeting to explore what counselling has to offer, please email me. firstname.lastname@example.org

Counselling is a journey which offers a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to talk to someone who is trained to listen and help you, a place to talk about yourself and your life. At Cornerstone we make it our aim to focus on you throughout your journey.
If you've had counselling before, we trust you will encounter a refreshing experience with us here at Cornerstone. We provide a space away from everyday life where you can pause, reflect, and deal with whatever is on your mind.
We understand that people at first can be uncomfortable with the thought that they need counselling, so you are not alone if you feel like this. But it is very difficult to clearly evaluate what is going on in your life when you sit within the situation, and talking to a professional counsellor can help you find a solution to your problem.
Cornerstone is a friendly and approachable counselling organisation based in Wellington, close to the Devon/Somerset border, and within easy reach of Junction 26 of the M5.
