Natasha De Meric (MBACP)
50 Westminster Bridge Road
I am a psychodynamic counsellor and psychotherapist and offer time-limited and ongoing therapy. Time-limited therapy involves agreeing a fixed number of sessions and coming to a shared understanding of the focus for therapy and working towards changing certain patterns (such as relationship patterns) that may feel limiting or destructive. In ongoing therapy there is no agreed number of sessions and we may be working on a wider range of issues.
I can offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to work through issues which you feel are affecting your life, relationships and work. I am trained from a psychodynamic perspective which recognises that your problems may have links to earlier experiences or traumas. I am also drawn to person-centred approaches to therapy, which trusts that you have the capacity to know what needs changing and the ability to do so.
I work in a way that is about establishing a good therapeutic relationship and with this basis you find a space to understand yourself and we work together on changing what limits you and strengthening your abilities. The therapy is about developing a confidence in yourself and a freedom to fully live your life in a way that feels genuine and truthful.
