At times life can get hard, we can find ourselves feeling anxious and not knowing what direction we want our lives to go.
How I can help?
I can help you with your Anxiety ,Family issues , self esteem issues. Eating disorders , depression , bereavement and work related stress. along with disability issues and body dysmorpic disorders and self harm.
I am a friendly individual who understands how hard the first step is, I do not hide behind my counselling mask and offer a transparent service.
I have a special interest in breaking the cultural barrier to counselling which I have discovered and experienced. My mixed heritage can only be an advantage in this area.
My background is in Family support work , along with working with women who have experienced Domestic abuse, I feel because of this background and my own diverse life experiences, this adds to my empathetic nature.
I feel passionately about every individual being able to find their voice , to not be ashamed of their feelings and to feel listened to.
What can I expect?
Before we get started in therapy I offer a initial consultation.
You are under no obligation to continue in therapy after this, if you may feel this may not be the right time for you.
However this gives you a opportunity to meet and discuss your issue and to find out more about how I work and if you would like to engage in therapy.
If it feels right for you, if we can work together.
This is your opportunity to ask as many questions as you like.
You are welcome to call or email to arrange this.
How do I work.?
Because of my Integrative training every client is treated as an individual and the therapy will be different for each.
I offer a space for my clients to explore their issues, in a non judgemental, confidential, empathetic space.
I offer a transparent service and feel that every client, is the master of their own therapy.
I help to facilitate the process so my client's have a greater understanding of self and behaviours along with their emotional triggers, so they can find a way to move forward to a more authentic life.
