About me

A warm welcome to you. My name is Natalie and I am an experienced qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, registered member of the BACP based in Farnham, working with Children, Young People and Adults. I am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, warm, confidential and non-judgemental environment.

My role as a counsellor is to help you, help yourself. I provide a space to talk, explore thoughts and feelings which enables growth and development. Having the time to talk and process will encourage time to learn about yourself. By speaking about your problems, worries, concerns and day to day life, we can move towards positive change, encouraging confidence, security and a positive awareness of being.

About Counselling

Counselling provides a confidential space which enables thoughts and feelings to be expressed. Presenting an opportunity to discover oneself through support and trust. It creates an exploration of building awareness, identifying patterns of behaviour and having a safe environment to reflect without feeling judged. It can impact on ones life to feel more confident, self assured and more able to cope with life.

Children are able to work through their material through the use of play. I have a child friendly room with toys, colouring and games to help children engage and release. Children are able to express themselves, exploring thoughts and feelings through creativity which enables them to process. Through time children are able to grow in confidence and have a deeper understanding of themselves

About Me

I am a qualified counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work at my private practice in Farnham where I counsel children, young people and adults. In addition to my private practice, I work as a child and adult counsellor at a primary school in Staines where I counsel children aged 5-11 and members of staff.

I believe that personal development and self-awareness is important to help others and therefore I continue to read and attend training courses. I have experience of working at an organisation in Wokingham called ARC providing therapy for adults and young people.

Before becoming a therapist I trained and qualified in childcare, working with children in nurseries and working as a private nanny. This gave me an understanding of children's growth, learning and development, bringing life experience to my work as a therapist.

My Approach

I am an integrative, person centred, relational counsellor and provide one to one counselling for children, young people and adults. I trust in the process, looking at your needs and wants in life, working towards self actualisation and self fulfilment. Together we build a trusting relationship to work through issues and matters which may be causing unsettled thoughts and feelings. Exploring and becoming aware will help in the process of growth and development to look to a positive future.
