I am an experienced Person-Centred Counsellor with a private practice in Ashingdon, Rochford, Essex and I offer individual and couples counselling. I have worked with people of all ages and backgrounds, experiencing wide-ranging concerns. I am on the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Register and abide by their Ethical Code. I also hold an up to date DBS (previously CRB) check.
Whether you are seeking support for a specific issue or whether you have a general sense that things aren’t quite right, I can offer you a safe, confidential and supportive space where you can explore the issues that are troubling you.
Whatever your circumstances, you will be listened to without judgement or prejudice and you will be heard. In our work together, I will be alongside you and I will support you to gain greater understanding and insight into your current situation. I will facilitate your exploration of the issues you bring, so that you can move forward towards a place of healing and development.
As a person-centred counsellor, I see the relationship between myself and my clients as all important for lasting and meaningful change to occur. I offer you warmth, authenticity and empathic understanding, as well as sensitivity and respect.
Depending upon your needs and wishes, I can provide short term or longer term counselling. I can also offer you evening and day time appointments, including Saturday mornings. My private practise is based in Ashingdon, Rochford, Essex, Parking is available in the street, outside my practice or in the free car park at the bottom of the road.

I have extensive experience of counselling young people and adults in School, Sixth Form and University settings. I currently work at Brunel University providing therapy to both staff and students. I am also a trained Cruse Bereavement support worker and have provided counselling to adults in times of profound grief and loss.Additionally,I have also worked for London Friend, an LGBT counselling service in central London and I have my own private practice based in Rochford, Essex.

All individual 'one-to-one' counselling sessions, including Skype and telephone counselling, last 50 minutes and cost £45.00.
Couples counselling sessions last one hour and cost £55.00.
I offer concessions and reduced fees for students and for those on low incomes.
My fee for students of counselling is £35 per 50 minute session.
