I am an experienced Person-Centred Counsellor and I have worked successfully with people of all ages and backgrounds, experiencing wide-ranging concerns. I offer individual one-to-one counselling at my private practice in Ashingdon, Rochford, Essex
I offer counselling for a range of concerns including: anxiety, depression, stress, bereavement, self-esteem and relationship issues etc. Whether you are seeking support for a specific issue or whether you have a general sense that things aren’t quite right, I can offer you a safe, confidential and supportive space where you can explore the issues that are troubling you.
Whatever your circumstances, you will be listened to without judgement or prejudice and you will be heard. In our work together, I will be alongside you and I will support you to gain greater understanding and insight into your current situation. I will facilitate your exploration of the issues you bring, so that you can move forward towards a place of healing and development.
As a person-centred counsellor, I see the relationship between myself and my clients as all important for lasting and meaningful change to occur. I offer you warmth, authenticity and empathic understanding, as well as sensitivity and respect.
Depending upon your needs and wishes, I can provide short term or longer term counselling. I can also offer you evening and day time appointments on Wednesdays and Thursdays, when I work from my private counselling practice in Ashingdon, Rochford, Essex. (Parking is available in the street, outside my practice or in the free car park at the bottom of the road).
I am on the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Register and abide by their Ethical Code. I also hold an up to date DBS (previously CRB) check.

I have extensive experience of counselling young people and adults in School, Sixth Form and University settings. I currently work at Brunel University providing therapy to both staff and students. I am also a trained Cruse Bereavement support worker and have provided counselling to adults in times of profound grief and loss.Additionally,I have also worked for London Friend, an LGBT counselling service in central London.

All individual 'one-to-one' counselling sessions, including Skype and telephone counselling, last 50 minutes and cost £40.00.
