My name is Natalia Perevalova-Iveson. I am a Psychotherapist and a Counsellor. I am deeply committed to my profession and believe in it, as over the years I have witnessed what change it can bring about in a person's life.
All of us can experience psychological turmoil or pain at times - sometimes this can be passing, but sometimes it may persist for weeks, even years. Problems might seem insurmountable – it may feel like you can never reach a solution. Or the same problems and relationship patterns may keep repeating themselves, despite your best efforts to move on with your life. Or you may not be sure how to define what you’re feeling. Or your feelings and emotion might seem overwhelming, as if you cannot understand or control them.
These are some of the issues that my clients and I have worked with over the years.
I offer short- and long-term (open-ended) contracts, depending on the individual needs and circumstances. I work face-to-face with individuals and offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment in which to explore internal and external issues at your own pace.
I may be able to offer phone sessions and sessions via skype (on the basis that each case is individual and the suitability of the method is best discussed on application).
Training, qualifications & experience
I graduated with distinction as a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist from WPF - one of the country's leading institutions reputed for its thorough clinical and theoretical training programme.
My qualification is accredited by the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and I am a full member of the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC) I adhere to the FPC's professional requirements - observing strict confidentiality at all times and undergoing regular supervision.
