The Depth of a Mature Listener with the Intuition of Seeing What May Be Needed...
Working with and studying, human nature for 35 years, I have discovered that Psychotherapy is Healing Oneself: through the Power of Speech, Thought and Emotion. Healing means Making Whole. 'Making Whole' is about finding the parts of ourselves that have become lost, never before found, broken or closed off.
What was lost is invisible to us. We don't know or see what has been lost... being left with the feeling that somehow, we aren't feeling right, things aren't going right, don't workout right, and in deed, life can come to a complete standstill as fear, depression, anger, anxiety and concern really set in.
Born in England to first generation immigrants in the mid 60s I had the benefit of seeing inside a culture from the outside. I live and work in Tottenham, now for 7 years. Being born in the Alexandra Palace area, I travelled for many years, absorbing new cultures and expanding my understanding of human relationships. I chose Cultural Studies as my undergraduate degree, and Film as my MA. Both subjects provided a foundation of insight into English Culture, and the Human Condition.
I have a passion for understanding how to work with the painfulness of life and unhappiness of all kinds. How we express and define ourselves and our human needs. What happened to us? Listening to the telling of What has Happened is the first act of healing our pain and unravelling confusion, isolation and loss. To find out more about the other 4 acts of healing, please go to my website: email@example.com
During my career as a lecture in Cultural Studies I started moving towards Psychotherapy. Soon I was undertaking workshops and commenced training in Counselling skills and Psychotherapy. That chapter of my professional development lasted 6 years. An essential part of the process of training is the therapists' own therapeutic journey. Mine has continued now for 20 years...
I bring a depth of seeing and listening that understands the complexity of unhappiness. Depression, anxiety, fear and loss are often experienced as being 'walled in' on ones' own. Because life is a solo experience, no matter who we're with, in times of feeling troubled, what is often sought and most needed, a place of retreat, of quietly sharing a burdened mind and heart, our feelings and thoughts, is often impossible to find. I offer a confidential practice of therapy and healing (whole-making) that is my vocation, my passion, and my life's vision. I bring understanding which remains free of judgement. My concern is your wellbeing.
I welcome requests for contact you may wish to make, or enquiries for further information about how I can be of help with what is concerning you.
I am a working Shaman, practicing Healing and Psychotherapy in London.

Why choose psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy is for anyone who seriously wants to attend to on-going or long term issues they have carried through life.
Why choose counselling?
Counselling is for anyone that is going through recovery from a recent event that has impacted them and is feeling disorientated, shut down, fearful or worried.
Who is psychotherapy for?
Anyone who is open to becoming conscious about their lives and their choices; who wishes to become empowered and to activate their lives with true consciousness. This process is one of great personal commitment to the journey of self-discovery.
Who is counselling for?
Anyone who is going through/has gone through unusual stress, trauma or loss - and who is seeking a space to bring their feelings and thoughts, for a short term of treatment.
Why choose Shamanic Healing, Mindfulness & Meditation?
Wherever there has been trauma, there is also loss on a soul level. Shamanic techniques clear away, protect and support and bring back lost soul parts. It is the strongest kind of work we can bring ourselves to. In other words, we can still feel vulnerably weak and fragmented even after years of psychotherapy and counselling. Shamanic energy work brings back the parts of us that were lost during trauma and which can result in addictive behaviours in attempts to feel 'ok' or whole again.
What I can offer..
A confidential space, a caring witnessing listener, constructive insight, assistance with treatments through processing and expressing anger, pain and grief; a view of the strengths that will carry you forward; and a map charting your process of discovery as you view yourself along your journey.
