About me

Approaching counselling, meeting someone new, building trust so you can share your deepest concerns, can seem daunting. I offer a caring positive approach in an environment which is confidential and non-judgemental, in which you can talk openly about your concerns, your thoughts and feelings about present, past and possible future issues, without fear of criticism.

I have experience of working with adults and young people who have experienced: anger issues; anxiety; alcohol/substance abuse; bereavement; depression/low mood; eating disorders; health-related problems; loss; mental health issues; obsessive behaviour; phobias; relationship problems; low self-esteem; self-harm; stress; or redundancy/work-related issues.

Short and long-term therapy options are available, whilst abiding by the BACP Ethical Framework.I hold professional indemnity insurance and a Disclosure & Barring Service Enhanced Certificate.

Appointments available during the day and some evenings. Please contact me for more information or to arrange a convenient time and place to meet.
