I am a qualified and experienced integrative counsellor offering both short term and open ended therapy. As an integrative counsellor I draw from different theoretical approaches. This enables me to support my clients in the way that works best for them. How we work together will depend on what you would like to achieve from therapy, how many sessions we have and what you feel comfortable with. Irrespective of this, I aim to offer a safe, confidential and down to earth space for you to explore what you bring to sessions.

I have worked with clients who chose to enter into counselling for many different reasons. Issues such as addiction, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship problems, domestic abuse, bereavement, low self esteem and parenting worries. Some clients may not be experiencing a crisis or have worries as such but would like to gain self awareness.
Away from private practice I have varied experience, offering therapy in organisations such as:
local government, the NHS, an addiction and substance abuse charity and a domestic abuse charity.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

An effective relationship with your therapist is widely believed to be the most important factor in successful outcomes for therapy. With this in mind, I offer an initial, no-obligation session for £25. This session will enable us to see if us working together would be a good fit and that you feel comfortable.
Regular sessions are £40 per 50 minutes. I offer a limited amount of concessions, these can be discussed during our initial session.
