Michelle Seabrook MA MBACP

Profile

I offer a space to think, to talk, to be heard.

At times during your life you may need someone to talk to who is not a relative, partner or friend. You may need to feel properly heard and to be able to think through an issue at your own pace.

Throughout my career I have been passionate about working with people in order for them to make changes to their life and develop a greater understanding of themselves. I have worked in a variety of settings in supporting people with a diverse range of issues.  My broad range of experience means that I can tailor my approach to meet your needs.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I am a member of BACP (eligible for accreditation) and a qualified Psychodynamic therapist (MA) drawing upon my previous knowledge in using Cognitive-Behavioural and Motivational Interviewing techniques. I am skilled in both long-term and short-term work and offer a 'steady presence' to my clients, working in a supportive, empathic and thoughtful manner. I value the importance of the therapeutic relationship and see this as being a key part of the healing process.
