As a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist I offer a confidential and unique counselling service for individuals and couples who are facing many struggles in their lives.
The foundations of the way I work lay in a person centred approach, and I have skills and strategies from a number of other approaches, so that the counselling experience can be tailored to meet the individual needs that may be required.
I have awareness of 12 step recovery, which may be useful for people who are participating in a 12 step recovery programme for addictions.
I always work in a way which is authentic and holistic in facilitating my client on their journey of self discovery.
I have experience of working with clients who face change in their lives as a result of grief, loss, relationship difficulties, struggles with codependency, abuse, depression, anxiety and those who are seeking to find their true self.
There may be the desire or need to explore past experiences in the 'here and now', to re-evaluate who we think we are, who we think we are not, and to how we are becoming.
I hope to offer a consistent time and space which will nurture a healthy relationship between us where new insights can be discovered. I am flexible in my approach and to the needs required for individuals.
