Hello and welcome to you, thank you for viewing my profile.
I offer a one to one counselling service for those who are experiencing difficulties in their lives and relationships. At times it seems hard to cope with life when there is a million and one things going on at any given time, it may feel as if it is too much to deal with on your own and yet how can this be shared with another person, its very personal and private.
It is my intention to help you help yourself by being an empathic companion on your journey into self. I not only hear what you say, I can feel what you say and this will be reflected back to you in a non-judgemental, warm and caring manner, through my integrity, unconditional acceptance and a genuine passion for your personal growth and well being. My aim is to help you seek what you need from the counselling relationship, together we can work through and untangle the issues that are most prevalent to you, our goal is helping you to realise your potential for growth and change, bringing you a fresher perspective, that leans towards a more integrated understanding and acceptance of yourself and others in your life.
Therapy sessions are experienced in a comfortable, peaceful environment, a place where you can explore your whole self safely and in confidence. The approach I base my practice on is Person Centered Therapy, in which there is a strongly held belief that individuals have and hold the answers to their own questions and troubles. Essentially, you are the navigator of your own life and well being and I am dedicated to the therapeutic relationship.
I wish you success on your personal journey. Michele.
