About me

Hello and welcome to you, thank you for viewing my profile.

I offer a one to one Counselling Service for those who are experiencing difficulties and Trauma in their lives and relationships, these difficulties can often induce Anxiety, Stress, Sadness, Loneliness, Low Self Esteem, Social Anxiety and Isolation which can affect all areas of your life from Eating Disorders, Sleeping Disorders, Depression, Panic Attacks, Phobias. It may feel as if it is too much for you to deal with on your own, please rest assured that you are not alone and I am here to help you work through any issues you are experiencing.

It is my intention to help you by being an empathic, compassionate companion on your journey into self. I not only hear what you say, I can feel what you say and this will be reflected back to you in a non-judgemental, warm and caring manner, through my integrity, unconditional acceptance and a genuine passion for your personal growth and well being. My aim is to help you seek what you need from the Therapeutic Relationship.  Together we can work through and untangle the issues that are most prevalent to you, our goal is helping you to realise your  full potential for growth and change, bringing you a fresher perspective, that leans towards a more integrated understanding and acceptance of yourself and others in your life.

Therapy sessions are experienced in a comfortable, peaceful environment, a place where you can explore your whole self safely and in confidence. I also offer online and telephone sessions. The approach I base my practice on is Person Centered Therapy in which there is a strongly held belief that individuals have and hold the answers to their own questions and troubles., I also offer CBT, Mindfullness, Emotion Focused Therapy, Spiritual Focused Therapy, Pet Bereavement Therapy.. Essentially, you are the navigator of your own life and well being and I am dedicated to the Therapeutic Relationship.

I wish you success on your personal journey. Michele.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
