I am BACP and UKCP registered psychodynamic psychotherapist this means my approach to therapy is to seek to unpack the intricate ways in which current emotional and psychological difficulties may be rooted in thoughts and feelings that are consciously non-available to the experiencing individual and may have their origin somewhere in the past, especially in childhood experiences.
I work with people with a range of emotional, psychological and interpersonal difficulties and tend to experience a great deal of anxiety, ambivalence, fear or anger in their everyday life. Psychotherapy does not offer a 'quick fix'. Emotional struggles and suffering are real and subjectively profound. The states of mind associated with mental pain are often enduring and debilitating, affecting personal relationships, functionality at the place of work, and the general organization of daily life.
Psychodynamic psychotherapy is an insight-oriented model of working with these difficulties and is seeking to unravel the often unconscious barriers to understanding one self and one’s patterns of relating with others.
Training, qualifications & experience
I began my psychotherapy training in 2009 at Birkbeck University and I am currently reading for a Master in Psychodynamic Practice at Oxford University having been awarded the Post Graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Practice in 2014 (Oxford University).
In parallel I have successfully compelled a BSc (Hons) in Psychology (Open University) and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology with Criminology (Open University).

I have been trained in Victim Support Agency with a comprehensive in-house specialist training that instructed and thought me to work with complex psycho-social cases and with the complex multi-agency that are inherently involved.
