Michael Kallenbach : As a skilled, experienced couples counsellor or marriage therapist, Michael can help you get to grips with any problems or difficulties you might be having in your relationship. Michael is a clear, sharp, intelligent thinker and an astute listener. During couples counselling, he is able to listen carefully to your story, helps you hear it and then allows you to come to your own conclusions. In doing so, he creates a safe space for authentic and open discussion.
Relationship or marriage counselling is done is a confidential, supportive and safe manner. Michael is experienced in working with a wide range of people irrespective of their difficulties or problems. Besides seeing couples for counselling, individuals often seek to explore why previous relationships might have failed and how to move onto to new one.
As Jeanette Winterson, prize winning author writes in her book, Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit: "Once you can talk about what troubles you, you are some way towards handling it."
When looking for a therapist, it is important to find someone whom you trust and feel safe with in the room. "Our initial session is to determine whether we feel comfortable and would like to work together," says Michael.
Occasionally he will conduct consultations via Skype of FaceTime for clients who live outside the areas he works in.
In London he has rooms at 10 Devonshire Place, off Harley Street. On Mondays and Fridays he is in Marlborough, opposite the Medical Practice off George Lane. This is behind Skurray's, the Vauxhall dealership, where there is free parking available.
