Life does not always deal us the cards that we want, sometimes this can be hard to accept. It can leave us feeling angry, that life is unfair and it can be hard to move on. Relationship issues, anxiety, depression, unemployment and redundancy or bereavement all shake our world and can leave us struggling to find our feet again. It is in these times that professional support can make a difference in your life and the process of healing and moving on can begin.
As an Integrative Counsellor, I offer a variety of Counselling approaches to suit you and your individuals needs. I offer short term (6-12) sessions and long term open ended counselling. Having previously worked for the Charity Mind as a Voluntary Counsellor for 5yrs, I have worked with a diverse client group with many different cultural experiences, issues and religions. Being of Irish/Nigerian decent and having lived in London for 20yrs, means that I am sensitive to cultural issues which may arise in such a diverse city. I understand how it feels to search for answers in your life when just getting up in the morning is a struggle and how important it is to have someone to hear you and just knowing that you are understood can be a great relief.
I offer you a place to come and explore what it is you are feeling, thinking and experiencing, where you can question and express your deepest thoughts and feelings and look at how you begin to move on in your life. I am not here to judge but to support, to understand and explore with you the choices and decisions you want to make to move your life or relationships forward. Part of moving on is learning new tools to support you as you make changes in your life, such as new ways of thinking and expressing your thoughts and feelings. I will support you in finding the tools that work for you in a safe environment.
