Maureen Fenner RMBACP. Dip. TC. Counsellor/Therapist
Hello and welcome!
Thank you for visiting my page. I am an experienced therapist and I can help you find your way through what is worrying you and causing you to be unhappy. You may be feeling lost and confused or perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed by things and unsure which way to turn. That can feel a very lonely place to be.
I understand that it can be difficult at times to talk to those closest to us, and that's when counselling can be useful. Counselling offers you the opportunity of talking things through in a non-judgemental setting that is safe and completely confidential. As a therapist, my role is to listen, to help you to reflect on your problems and then help you to find the right path towards a calmer, more contented life.
What to expect on your first session
This will be an assessment lasting for about 40 minutes, giving us the opportunity to meet and I will explain to you how I work, and how counselling may be able to help you in your life, as I invite you to share with me what it is that has caused you to seek my help. We work at your pace, this is your time and your session..
This assessment will cost you £25.00
My session fees for individual work are £40 for counselling sessions, which last for 50 minutes. Couples and Family work sessions are £45-£50 depending on your circumstances. Concessions are available.
My areas of expertise include:
- Relationship problems
- Anxiety and stress
- Bereavement and loss
- Victims of crime
- Physical and emotional abuse, [both recent and historical]
- Domestic Violence

I will support you toward taking control of your life, and understanding why the things that make you unhappy can feel so powerful.
Perhaps I can help you find your way...........
