Profile
I am a qualified practitioner offering short and long-term therapy in English and Portuguese.
My role as a therapist is to support the client to discover, to develop and reach their full potential. In a non-judgemental, understanding and safe environment we will explore your thoughts, feelings and open up a space for your inner discovery and gain a sense of empowerment which will help you to create new possibilities and explore the choices presently available for you.
I believe that we all have potential for inner growth and changes. If you feel you are struggling to cope alone, have lost direction, low self-esteem, have unresolved conflicts, lack of strengths, therapy is a way to help you to clarify, understand and move on from these difficult feelings that are troubling you. Although sometimes there are situations that cannot change, we can change our responses to them.
In my own experience therapy is a unique and profoundly healing experience and most people find a very rewarding process. Central to my work is the relationship we establish together as I believe that trust, feeling safe and understood is the essential foundation to wellbeing and positive outcome.
