Mark Sheldon - Integrative (incl. CBT) Counsellor (BACP Accredited)
My aim as a counsellor is to offer a person who is experiencing difficulties a safe space to talk about their issues, what they are hoping to improve, and then support them as they endeavour to move forwards in their life. As an Integrative Counsellor I aim to collaborate with my client and decide which style of support might suit them best. For some people the act of simply being properly 'heard' is extremely helpful and allows them to, at their own pace and in their own time, negotiate a way forwards. Other clients prefer a more practical form of support including specific counselling techniques (e.g. CBT) to help them understand their problem better (including goal setting) so they are clearer about what would be helpful for them to to do to improve things.
Currently I am seeing adult clients at my home on Mondays (6-9pm) and Wednesdays (6pm-9pm) and weekends (various times). Sessions typically last 50 minutes and take place weekly.
I work with adults only at home. I have a designated counselling room at my house. I am able to see clients face-to-face for long-term and short-term work.
Please give me a call on 07951 056777 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to ask any questions or would like to book an appointment.
