Profile
The nature of life today is we can find ourselves facing difficult situations which can impact negatively on our life and mood and leave us feeling 'stuck.'
Psychological therapy can help you through this difficult time and move on with your life.
I have many years experience in working as a Psychologist in both the UK and Ireland, helping adults and adolescents (age 13 and above) who are dealing with depression, anxiety and other difficulties.
I am trained in a variety of psychological therapies, including person-centered therapy, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and interpersonal therapy. I work by integrating the therapies I am trained in with the needs of my client.
My psychological therapy with my clients is collaborative. I very much believe in treating every client as an individual. My approach to my psychological therapy with my clients is about applying the psychological therapy to the client and not vice versa, thereby creating a supportive, therapeutic space for the client. I treat adults and also adolescents (age 13 and above with parental consent).
'Mental health problems do not affect three or four out of every five persons but one out of one.' (William C. Menninger 1899-1966)
