Counselling and Psychotherapy can offer a way of understanding of both self and how we relate to others.
Such understanding can provide a tool for personal change. Whilst the support of families and friends is important, sometimes it is not enough. The problems may also be with our close relationships which can prevents us from talking about our problems openly with them. Talking to a third party who is trained to listen and respond can provide support through difficult times. Therapy is often sought be ordinary people struggling with everyday problems. Therapy offers a safe and non-judgmental place to off-load and vent concerns and have help to link patterns of thoughts and behaviour that are causing problems. Therapy can help promote positive changes to how we deal with problems in life.
My counselling and psychotherapy practice is located in Countesthorpe, Leicester, within easy reach of Junction 21 and 20(M1). The nearest landmark is Countesthorpe Community College. It takes approximately 20 minutes by private transport to get from Leicester City Centre and 30 mins by bus (no 85 from the bus station). I am also within easy reach of Blaby, Hinckley, Oadby, and Wigston. Directions are available when booking an initial session.
