Marilyn McKenzie BSc, PGDip, MBACP
The Practice At Angel Islington
32-33 Upper Street
My name is Marilyn McKenzie and I am a qualified practising counsellor and psychotherapist and I specialise in the following areas:
- Couples experiencing difficulty with intimacy or connection
- Recovering after an affair
- Singles who are struggling to find love or have unfulfilling sex lives
- Workplace Stress
I am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.
The kind of counselling and psychotherapy I offer helps people come to terms with or improve areas in their life that they find difficult. It is not directive, instead it supports and empowers you to make the best decisions for you, and where I work with couples, your partner too.
That is the benefit of therapy, it is an impartial, non-judgemental discussion where you can truly be yourself with and work through what's troubling you.
I currently offer counselling and psychotherapy to couples and individuals who are struggling with their relationships, whether this is to communicate or connect but, also see people 1-2-1 in Bank/ Cannon St, Angel, and Forest Hill. This helps people move forward and make sense of what they want from their relationships with others or alternatively helping people to feel braver about being intimate.
I work face to face and Skype with both individuals and couples on an open-ended basis or for an agreed period of time, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.
