Marie Maynard Morgan MBACP (Psychotherapy/Counselling & Supervision)
“I believe that each of us holds the key to our own happiness, but sometimes we just need someone to help us find the door."
If you feel stuck, challenged or just need someone unbiased to talk things through with, to try to make sense of things that suddenly feel overwhelming. I will help you to process and understand your thoughts, to explore and find new ways to think and change the way you relate. Together we will find ways to process and move on from any issues, worries, problems or concerns, mental or health based. I provide safe, trusting, mindful and nurturing, holistic therapy, providing constant reassurance. I help clients to work through relationships past and present and to put healthy boundaries in place. I listen carefully to support my clients in a non-judgmental, empathic therapeutic relationship.
I help clients to begin to recognise and change patterns of unhelpful thoughts and behaviour, to understand and learn how to express exactly what their needs are. I also help clients to connect at a much deeper level with their physical, cognitive and neurological connections, to fine-tune their gut feeling. Clients develop and believe in their own intuitive, natural instinct, are able to express honestly and feel much more genuine and authentic.
Homework is an important part of experiencing growth outside of therapy sessions; together we can process and gain a deeper understanding of thoughts and behaviours through journal keeping, making sense through dream analysis, and establishing independence through tasks and assignments.
The tools and skills I provide help clients to become their own therapist. Clients make significant healthy choices, positive changes and experience feeling assertive, feel grounded and confident as they gain respect especially from significant others.
Clients experience that they can make their own choice, changes and experience real growth, by making sense of their past, beginning to live in the present and planning a real future.
will help you to focus on recognising your capabilities in areas such as creativity, personal growth and choice. I am reliable, consistent and always here for your session, but I’m also flexible should you need to rearrange.

Do you sometimes struggle, feel lost, alone, lose your sense of direction, feel frustrated, anxious, angry, guilty, shame or any other emotion? Would you like to explore options, make choices, move direction towards understanding, who you are and what you want? Are you struggling with issues around confidence, procrastination, depression, anxiety, anger, guilt or any other difficulties?
Do you struggle to understand?
I specialise in counselling you in a safe, confidential, non-threatening place to explore your thoughts, feelings and personal issues. I can help you to develop a better understanding of yourself and your inner resources.
I will encourage you to find your own solutions to your problems, gain self-acceptance and reach your true potential. I will help you to focus on recognising your capabilities in areas such as creativity, personal growth and choice.
Trying to find a therapist that can work with you in Person - Face to Face, Telephone, Email or Skype can seem overwhelming. Everything is confidential, in our sessions I will support you to make sense of your past, to manage your present and change your future.
I appreciate that taking the first step to contact a therapist can seem daunting. You may hesitate thinking about making a commitment; it may seem challenging, especially, if you are giving so much of your time to others. You may feel overwhelmed, even challenged by the prospect of devoting any special time to yourself.
I can only reassure you, that you really do not have to be alone with your thoughts or your feelings; I am here to support you. Especially with the confidence of knowing that you can experience therapy as the most positive, and empowering journey, that will help you to regain control of your life.
The best way to start is by simply sending me an email, and I will respond to arrange our first session.
I work with empathy, in a non-judgmental, safe, and trusting space where you can express and reflect on your thoughts, feelings, emotions, fears or concerns.
I share a synthesis of theory with a depth of experience, to help you to gain insight with every life challenge, relationship boundary, negative thoughts and behaviour.
I will help you to work towards establishing goals, develop healthy choices and make positive changes.
As well as Face to Face, I also work with email, Skype, Email and Telephone. This may be the right option for you because of a variety of reasons: it could be your distance, line of work, location, health, family commitments or other.
As a client, you will be able to communicate with me perfectly and will experience the same high level of Psychotherapy and Counselling as any Face-to-Face session. You will also benefit from being in your own surroundings and having your very own safe space and progress at your pace.
In order to make the most of all sessions, please ensure that you are in a private and comfortable space, with a good Internet connection and without interruptions or distractions.
Please send me an email for further details on how to start sessions.
Please note continuity in sessions is vital for growth and progress, the space we reserve on your preferred days and times are for your private ongoing sessions only, I cannot offer this to another client and therefore any missed session without giving at least 48 hours notice must always be charged. However, I will always try to rebook or provide a full refund for sessions cancelled with a minimum of 48 hours notice.
