Maria White MBACP (Accredited) Psychotherapist, Counsellor & Supervisor
Farnham Chiropractic Wellness
1A Victoria Road
I have over 20 years international experience as a counsellor/psychotherapist working with individuals (both young people and adults), couples and groups offering long term, short term or solution-focused therapy. I also offer supervision of psychotherapists, counsellors and professionals.
My special interest lies in treating trauma, especially childhood trauma and events which often cast a deep shadow over us in adult life. I have extensive experience working with survivors of rape and sexual abuse, addictions and issues relating to stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and bereavement. I am interested in life transitions (personal and professional) and relationship issues. I’ve worked with people from all walks of life from directors, teachers, social workers, prisoners to working with young people.
I am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and as such, I am required by law to acquire, keep, use and store all personal information in accordance with the rules and regulations outlined in the Data Protection Act 1998.
In addition I have enhanced DBS clearance.

What is a drop in session? A drop in session gives the opportunity to talk for 20 minutes in confidence about any personal issue. Drop ins are most helpful:
For a specific and limited issue
When you feel you want some help but you are not sure what form it should take
The drop in session is not a counselling session or a Crisis session
When is the drop in?
October to January. There are limited slots available and so would advise to pre-book in advance to avoid disappointment on the day. The drop in session is free and confidential.
