Counselling is helpful when we are facing difficulties in our lives with coming to terms with change or loss or when we are facing situations which leave us feeling out of control and unable to move forwards.
I provide a safe space within which I work with clients to help them explore the issues they are facing and help them to identify thoughts, emotions and patterns of behaviour that are problematic.
Once these are identified, resulting in new understanding of the situation, we are then able to work together to find new ways of moving forwards towards a happier, more fulfilling life.
I understand that attending Counselling for the first time can be a daunting experience and so I am happy for prospective clients to contact me prior to making an appointment to discuss how counselling may help you in your situation.
I have worked as a Counsellor for a number of years and my background is in Mental Health. Previously, I worked as a Counsellor at Sheffield Mind, within the areas of Anxiety, Depression, Bereavement and Loss, Low Self Esteem, Confidence and Relationship Issues.
I now work in Private Practice at Cornerstone Counselling and Therapy Centre, S11 and from my home practice in Dronfield Woodhouse, S18.
Day time, evening and weekend appointments are available.
You can contact me on 07766107277 or via email - firstname.lastname@example.org to make an appointment or have a confidential chat about how counselling may help you.
