About me

I am an experienced Counselling Psychologist providing a safe and confidential counselling and psychotherapy service, working with individuals who are experiencing difficulties in their lives (as well as providing supervision to qualified therapists and those in training).

I work collaboratively with people to find ways of helping that are most appropriate for them, drawing from different therapeutic approaches. This might involve just one session, short term work (around 10 sessions) or longer term work. Counselling psychology is a respectful and supportive process that can help you to meet challenges, discover new and positive ways of being in the world, and move forward with your life.

As well as providing an online service, I practise in East Twickenham, close to Richmond Train Station and St Margaret's Train Station. Car parking is available close by.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist (PSYCHOL), registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC). I am a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
