Margaret Lee (CBT)
As a CBT counsellor I work with individuals and have a lot of experience working with teenagers. My aim is to provide a high quality, professional service that focuses on tailoring my approach to your individual needs to ensure you get the most from therapy. My professional training and life experience mean I can offer an impartial ear and the ability to examine issues from a fresh angle in a safe, non-judgemental environment.
There are times when we can find life challenging: we may feel overwhelmed, anxious, depressed or stuck in repeating patterns of negative behaviours. These challenges can block the way we live our lives and limit our true potential.
I will work with you to explore thoughts, feelings and sensations to give a greater understanding of the situation so that realistic goals can be made in order to move forward in a positive manner.

Diploma in Counselling and Groupwork – a Cognitive Behavioural Approach
Certificate in Neuro Linguistic Programming

I am committed to professional development by attending courses, conferences and making use of research. So you can be assured that your therapy will be based on sound therapeutic principles and approaches that have been proven to be effective.
I am a member of BACP and abide by their Statement of Ethics and Code of Practice.
I am fully insured and hold a current PVG certificate, attending supervision on a monthly basis.
I have a background in education and have been an active volunteer throughout my life.
