About me

I offer adult face to face online individual psychotherapy and counselling.

As BACP qualified integrative psychotherapist, I work across a wide range of areas and interests: lifestyle and relationship issues, “existential emptiness”, loss of meaning and motivation, bereavement and loss, trauma, mood disorders (anxiety and depression), past abuse, intimacy and substance abuse problems, ageing and later life concerns.

As Advanced Accredited Sexual Diversity Therapist I work with identity and sexuality, gender-fluidity and diversity issues, internalised phobias, anger and lighter forms of verbal aggression, aiming to explore their way and HIV+, HAART, HRT, chemsex support and relationship concerns.

Theoretical Approach: Integrative Psychotherapy ( influences: Psychoanalysis, Existential, Humanistic), ACT Group Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, DBT

As an integrative psychotherapist I work across a wide range of areas and interests, lifestyle and relationship issues, anxiety, existential emptiness, loss of meaning, bereavement and loss, trauma ,cry spells, people pleasing and mood disorders (anxiety and depression), past abuse (addiction and prevention of relapses), ageing and later life concerns. As an accredited sexual diversity therapist I work with identity and sexuality, gender-fluidity and diversity issues, internalised phobias and anger.

Sessions can be conducted in English, Italian and German.

I offer both short-term (usually 12 sessions) and open ended work.

Training, qualifications & experience

My trainings are strictly related to my personal experiences. Two decades of experience in assisting and management within both the military and civil aviation provided the platform which set off my interest in inner healing.

My cross-cultural experience of this previous work along with continuous training have provided and are providing me the integrative and inclusive attitude which characterises both my training attitude and professional awareness.

My attention to language and the extensive cross cultural knowledge added to humanistic studies set off my journey within the talking therapies .

I graduated in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling Psychology at Regent's University London. Additionally I fulfilled the requirements for and was awarded with "Alternative Sexualities Certificate" issued by Pink Therapy and "Train the Trainers- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy" - Group Protocol for Improving Employee Well Being and Performance issued by University of London and City and Hackney Mind.

Moreover I facilitate DBT (Dialectic Behavioural Therapy) to individuals and groups and  graduated as a 7-PATH Self Hypnosis Teacher (Phase Advanced Transformational Hypnotherapy) in California and currently am practising in London, Rome, the UK and Internationally.

As Pink Therapy's Clinical Associate I offer my services to organisations, schools and universities facilitating Workshops of  GSRD, ACT, DBT, Hypnosis to communities across the UK and Italy.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
