I think it can be natural to feel anxious about taking that first step to contact a counsellor for help. Therefore, an important element of my counselling philosophy is the relationship between the client and counsellor.
Our first session will be a way for you to decide if I am the right counsellor for you. As a caring counsellor who is sensitive to others needs. I accept that some people may find it difficult to express their feelings. Therefore, I believe in working with clients at a pace that is right for them. I also understand by walking through my own journey of life, how at times life can be an obstacle course full of confusion and pain. We can work together exploring your feelings and thoughts whilst you are being supported in a caring, non-judgemental and confidential environment.
I believe that everyone has the potential for change, personal growth and that they can gain a better understanding of themselves through counselling.
