About me

I am a qualified UKCP Registered Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor and EMDR Therapist. I offer long and short term psychotherapy, counselling and EMDR to individuals and couples.  I offer 1-1 and group clinical supervision for qualified therapists and trainees.

I am currently offering online therapy and supervision using a variety of platforms to suit your needs.

I have been practicing  as a therapist since 2012. I have a private practice both online and (when possible) face to face in Saltburn-by-the-Sea.

I am an Associate Therapist with The Retreat in York delivering Psychotherapy and EMDR Therapy.

I am a Clinical Supervisor for the Macmillan Cancer Support Line staff nationally.

My approach is integrative, using different approaches to suit your needs as a client.  I will take time through an induction session to get to know you and to see if we can work together successfully, to explain what therapy is and to get an idea on what commitment you want to make.  Following this, if we both agree, we will contract to work together.

If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.
