How I can help?

I will both support and challenge you in the process, and explore the changes you might wish to make.
I am included on the BACP Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (Registration number 152549).
This register is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.

Suicidal thoughts - Low self-esteem - Low self-confidence - Sexual abuse - Domestic abuse - Gender anxieties - Relationship and family breakdown - Phobias - Post-Traumatic Stress - Work or exam related stress - Serious illness - Loneliness and feelings of isolation.
I have experience in working with both children and adults, from ages 11 and upwards. l also worked at a London University providing counselling to students from Year 7 to Post Graduate level.

In addition to my work in Private Practice, I work as Locum Lead Counsellor in a Secondary School. £40 for 50 minutes initial assessment
£45 per 50 minutes thereafter
My appointments are available Monday to Friday, between the hours of 10am to 8pm and Saturday between 10am and 1pm.
My practice is easily accessible by public transport and there is plentiful free on street parking.
Our initial assessment meeting:
During this time, we will discuss the type of therapy which will meet your needs and I will explain the counselling contract between us. This is essential as it clearly lays out what can be expected in the sessions and gives you, as the client, an informed choice as to whether you wish to work with me.
This is a non-obligation first consultation and there is no expectation that you would want to go ahead with further sessions unless we both agree to work together.
This also provides a good opportunity to meet face-to-face and establish if we can work together in a therapeutic relationship.
Confidentiality and Ethics
All our work together is confidential. There are some exceptions to this (ethical and legal) and these will be discussed in detail at our first meeting.
I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), hold indemnity insurance and I have a recent DBS (criminal record check).
