Lynne Revie Hepburn
I am an experienced Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, and I have worked extensively with people suffering from anxiety, health problems, panic attacks, depression, low self esteem, trauma, stress, anger, burn out, relationship issues, family issues or general unhappiness and discontent with their life.
I have worked with clients in a variety of settings, from NHS to employee assistance, and in private practice.
My approach is collaborative, creative, compassionate and tailored to meet your needs, whatever they might be. I provide a supportive and sensitive environment where you can discuss your situation without pressure or judgement, and we can work together to help you find a way to cope with your difficulties.
How can CBT help?
Often it is difficult to understand why we are distressed, unhappy or not coping, and CBT can help clarify your thinking and look for practical solutions to help you move forward. CBT is problem-solving oriented, and clients learn specific skills that they can use for the rest of their lives. These skills involve identifying distorted thinking, modifying beliefs, relating to others in different ways, and changing behaviours.
You can call or email me and we can have an informal discussion about what it is you are looking for, and how you wish to work. I can work effectively via telephone and Skype; as well as face to face.
