Lyn Wilson MBACP
Old Hall Street
Hello and welcome,
I am a qualified counsellor offering face to face and telephone counselling sessions for people aged 18 or over. I offer a free initial consultation by telephone, for us to talk through what you are looking for and to answer any questions you may have about counselling.
I am here to work with you, to enable you to make sense of the issues causing you concern.
People come to me for counselling with a wide range of problems which may be related to home, work, personal development, relationships, health conditions, change in life circumstances or life in general.
I offer a warm, friendly, comfortable, safe space for you to talk and explore, at your own pace, anything that is causing you distress or worry. It is up to you to choose what to talk about.
I will listen and won't judge you, as I help you explore any difficulties you may be struggling with, which could interfere with your day to day life. I will support you in making your own choices and decisions.
Our work together will be centred on you, helping you to gain a clearer understanding about yourself, your problems and your feelings. This will enable you to discover different ways of thinking, feeling and behaving, empowering you with a deeper understanding, insight and strength in making choices moving forward towards achieving your life goals.
Counselling takes place in a counselling room in Liverpool city centre, close to Moorfields station.
In addition to practising privately, I work as a volunteer counsellor with Age UK Mid Mersey. I am also a volunteer assistant counselling service coordinator.
