We all have times in our lives when we are struggling with personal, family, work or relationship issues and need to seek support from a counsellor to try and find a clear way forward.
I am a qualified psychotherapist and am accredited by British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy. I provide a safe and secure environment for you to explore your thoughts and feelings and to address underlying issues which may be causing confusion and anxiety.
I have over 15 years experience as a counsellor and I have also worked as a front line mental health social worker supporting clients with severe and enduring mental health diagnoses.
I offer an integrative approach to my work and utilise a number of approaches to support individuals needs. For example I offer cognitive behavioural therapy, person-centred, brief and solution focused therapy. I offer short term and long term counselling as appropriate.
I am registered with the Barnardos LINK Adoption Support Service and specialise in issues relating to those seeking to adopt, birth family relationships and clients who are adopted.
I work for a number of Employee Assisted Programmes for those experiencing problems in the workplace, such as stress, changes in role, colleague relationship management and bullying.
