Lyn Course MBACP
Hi, I am an experienced Integrative Counsellor. I work using CBT, Person Centred, Gestalt and Psychodynamic Theory. I am also a registered member of the BACP.
I provide a professional counselling service in a relaxed environment. I feel that successful therapy is based on the effective relationship between counsellor and client. It is important to respect and support the client in a confidential and non-judgemental environment. This helps the client to feel safe.
Therapy can be helpful in so many ways for example:
- low self-esteem
- post-natal depression
- obsessive compulsive disorder
- child related issues.
Sometimes situations from the past affect your behaviour in the here and now. Therapy can help you to understand yourself and others, as well as helping you to change negative thoughts into to more positive ones. It can also help you to change unwanted behaviours.
