Hi and welcome to my page.
There can be many reasons why a person chooses to have Counselling. It doesn't only have to be when one has a problem, it could be that you just need an ear to hear, with a good listener, that is someone unrelated or connected to you in anyway.
How I work
I am a qualified counsellor with a BA(Hons) degree in Counselling. I am also currently working towards becoming an accredited counsellor with the BACP. I am a member of the BACP and follow their ethical framework.
I work with a relational style and an integrative Counselling model, which includes aspects of CBT, person centered, Gestalt and psychodynamic. I also try, where possible, to follow a holistic approach, working with the body and how this can be at times closely linked to our Mental Heath too.
I would arrange an initial assessment, which would take around 30-50 minutes. This session is for us to meet each other, where you will be able to talk through your reasons for seeking counselling and where we can asses your needs moving forward. If we both agree to proceed, then further sessions, working on a once weekly or fortnightly basis, will be discussed either short term or long term, but this is totally up to you.
Training, qualifications & experience
- BA(Hons) Counselling

My training included a 3 year degree in Counselling.
My Counselling experience has included working within a Counselling agency as well as having my own private practice where I see clients in my home or in a room in Watford.
I regularly take part in ongoing CPD courses which form part of my continual professional development.
I also have a diploma in Personal Training, which allows for some integration within my Counselling sessions towards a holistic approach, including mind, body And soul.
