About me

Are you struggling at the moment? Are you wanting to make changes to improve your life? I am an experienced counsellor offering respectful, non-judgmental and supportive counselling. You've taken the 1st step by seeking counselling, get ready to take the next one....

Hello - I'm Louise and I work in Swanley and the surrounding areas. I currently work in private practice with adults, adolescents (I was a secondary school counsellor for 11 years) and employee assistance programmes. I also work for Relate, working with couples.

Most people seek counselling when they are struggling to deal with a difficult situation and are wanting things to be different. Counselling can help you to identify difficult feelings and emotions and enable you to develop and implement new strategies and thinking, to bring change. It is an opportunity to for you to have a voice and be heard.

We are all individual and each require different things. I offer a counselling experience tailor made to suit your needs. I draw from a wealth of counselling disciplines including person centred, transactional analysis, CBT, psychodynamic and Gestalt.

I have extensive experience in the following areas:

  • Abuse.
  • Addictions.
  • Anger Management.
  • Anxiety and Depression.
  • Bereavement and loss.
  • Confidence and self-esteem issues.
  • Domestic violence.
  • Eating disorders.
  • Family difficulties.
  • Identity issues.
  • Post natal depression.
  • Relationship issues.
  • Self harm.
  • Teenage struggles.
  • Trauma.

My hours of availability are:
Monday - Thursday:  7.30 am - 9.00 pm.                                                                        Saturday: 7.30 am - 12.00 noon.

If you want to make an appointment, you can call or e-mail me and we will discuss what it is you are hoping to gain from counselling. We can then make an appointment for a time that suits you and start the process of change.
