Louise Jarvis MA MBACP
9 Coldbath Square
After reaching a junction in my life I found that personal therapy helped and guided me so much that it became my calling. I strongly believe that by becoming more self aware and understanding of our patterns of behaviour it can provide us with opportunity to make positive change.
I have worked with clients from 6-60 years of age on issues ranging between anxiety, bereavement, loss, relationship issues, depression, stress and challenges of fast paced working environments and work/life balance.
'Only when we're brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light' - Brene Brown
'To share your weakness is to make yourself vulnerable; to make yourself vulnerable is to show your strength' - Criss Jami
About you and us
You may be at a crisis point or just wanting to understand yourself better and what makes you behave in certain ways. Either way, I appreciate that starting counselling can sometimes be a daunting process, maybe creating anxiety and a sense of failure in itself. My role is to help you navigate your way through your feelings and thoughts and to support you in discovering the outcome of your desires and needs.
By working closely together in a safe, confidential and gentle manner, we can explore these with the aim of gaining insight and understanding that can aid you now and in the future.
