Profile

With a background of 20 years experience in couples counselling, individual counselling and training I know that no two people are exactly alike, whether you come as an individual or are seeking couples counselling, our work will be tailored to your unique situation.

There are any number of issues that people bring to couple counselling or individual counselling such as; relationship and sexual concerns, anger management, bereavement, caring for a relative with dementia, anxiety and stress, sometimes it is difficult to define just what the problem is. But with the aid of counselling things can become clearer and those feelings of uncertainty or unhappiness can be worked through, helping you to become better at understanding and dealing with them, and even help you to make changes allowing you to move on. We all like to be heard and feel that someone understands what we are going through, or have gone through, someone who will listen without judgement.

My offices are in central Colchester, so very easy to get to, located discretely away from the hustle and bustle of the town, and offering a safe, confidential place to come and talk. I look forward to meeting you.

I see adults aged 16 to 90, couples & individuals. Short term and long term clients.  I also see student counsellors and offer supervision as a qualified integrative supervisor.

Fees

Couple Counselling/ Individual Counselling

£45 per session
(some negotiation is possible for people on low income)

Some late afternoon early evening/twilight appointments (5/6.30)

£30 student counsellors

Supervision

£45 per hour (some negotiation depending on client load)
