Welcome to 'A Safe Place to Begin',
I am an Integrative Counsellor - Systemic and Mindfulness Practitioner - Psychotherapist - Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Supervisor and work in both the Kings Lynn area of West Norfolk and in Central London. Therapeutic Workshops and small Mindfulness Groups are also available during 2016 in both areas.
Counselling can be seen as an investment in your personal development and wellbeing. I appreciate that finding the right therapist can be both difficult and time consuming. Many hours of research may be required before finding a therapist that you feel able to work with.Trust and confidentiality are important factors that need to be considered when entering into any Therapeutic Contract or Counselling Agreement.
If you have any questions about the way I work or what level of confidentiality I offer please do not hesitate to contact me.
I currently have two practice addresses:
Tilney Cum Islington (PE34) and King's Lynn (PE30), in west Norfolk, the King's Lynn venue is suitable for disabled visitors and both have free off road car parking, subject to space. Watlington and King's Lynn railway stations are close by and other public transport links are established.

7.00am to 9.00pm
Who I work with both Male and Female clients as either.......
- Individuals either in a face-to-face setting or by telephone, Skype/Vsee or Face Time.
- Couples in a face-to-face setting.

Before any counselling or psychotherapy agreement can be offerd each person will be invited to attend an initial assessment appointment. You will be invited to ask any questions you may have, discuss what has brought you to therapy at this time and to say what you hope or would like to achieve by having therapy. I will ask you some background questions and seek information relating to your medical history - medication and lifestyle choices, this is normal and for your protection. This meeting will also give you the opportunity to see if you would like to work with me as your therapist. I hope that by doing so you will have a clear understanding of what I am offering you from the outset. To assist you in making your decision we will also discuss confidentiality, fees and the cancellation policy.
Who I Work With:
I work with individuals in an integrative manner and use various elements of my training to do so, in a way that is best suited to your individual needs and always within my competency level. I work systemically with couples and families. Groups are either experiential - educational - supportive or mindfulness based Practice Groups.
The following theories or philosophies will underpin our work together and these are, Psychodynamic - Person or Client Centred - Cognitive Behavioural - Existential - Systemic or Mindfulness based.
My aim is to provide a warm, respectful and non-judgemental space that is both confidential and safe, so that you can work on changing aspects of your life that are no longer desired or helpful to you.
