About me

Hello. I am a fully qualified therapist and Counselling Supervisor on the BACP member register and I offer a warm, friendly, caring and non-judgemental professional and confidential counselling service to include Psychodynamic, Person centred and CBT therapies from my private practice. I am experienced in working with children aged 10 upwards, young people, adults of all ages and couples, and tailor my work to suit the clients needs.

Life can be really difficult and throw numerous challenges our way. Sometimes we need a helping hand through the difficult times. Counselling has many benefits such as being listened to and valued and helping you to find the answers you need, or make sense of your feelings.

I cover a range of issues to include but not limited to: Self esteem and confidence, affairs, relationship and family issues, divorce and separation, mediation, domestic violence, sexual abuse, anger, anxiety, stress, bereavement and loss, depression, eating disorders, self harm, bullying, stress, trauma and addiction.

As well as having my own private practice, I work at a secondary school counselling children age 11-18 years, and have previously worked as a tutor training adult counselling students, and previously counselled for the mental health charity Mind, NHS IAPT (Improved Access to Psychological Interventions) and in prisons.

I abide by the BACP code of ethics and continue to add to and improve my professional skill set by ensuring that I commit time to learning about all the various therapy techniques available. I also attend monthly supervision.

My private practice is in a village location close to the A45 and A14, offering easy access from Wellingborough, Oundle, Thrapston, Rushden, Kettering and all surrounding areas.
