Lizzie Hull. MBACP, Dip. Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor
My name is Lizzie Hull and I am a trained counsellor; having studied Counselling and Psychotherapy to a higher diploma level. I run a private practice in Stanford-le-Hope, Essex, which is easily accessible via Basildon, Chafford Hundred and the surrounding areas. My practice is located within walking distance of Stanford-le-Hope train station, which is on the main C2C line from Southend to London. There is also a main bus route close by and free parking is available.
I have worked with agencies such as MIND and Macmillan Dove, where I gained valuable experience working with Bereavement and Mental health. As a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I work within their ethical framework for good practice. Continued professional development is important to me and I regularly attend training sessions and workshops to enhance and maintain my experience and professionalism.
I offer face to face counselling in a safe and pleasant environment, where I listen and sometimes prompt in a way that is both empathic and non-judgemental. I believe it is important to recognise the needs of each individual in order to help them feel valued and understood and at the same time enabling them to work through their issues without feeling rushed and at a pace that suits them.
