Lisa Eaton Counselling
Room 13, Broadstone Business Centre
19(b) Moor Road
Hello and Welcome, I'm Lisa and I offer professional counselling from a comfortable and private room in Broadstone, Dorset to all young people and adults.
Finding the right person to talk to can seem daunting and you might be feeling overwhelmed or nervous about making the first step, with this in mind I hope to provide you with a friendly introduction to myself and how I work.
I am a qualified counsellor with experience of working with young people and adults.
As well as my private practice I also work as a counsellor at a local agency counselling adult survivors of childhood abuse. For the last year I have worked within a doctors medical centre counselling clients with a whole range of issues and mental health problems.
I can offer you a safe, confidential space to come and explore whatever you wish to bring, whether this be short term or long term counselling, I can be flexible depending on your needs. I have a strong belief that we CAN ALL change and be that person we want to be!
How I work - in our sessions my aim is to develop a therapeutic relationship to enable you to feel safe enough to explore your concerns and be listened to in a way that may not have happened before. I will offer you the opportunity to discuss your problems with me in a warm, neutral, confidential, non-judgemental environment, enabling you if you so wish, to explore any root causes of painful, negative feelings and thoughts which may then enable you to move on from feeling stuck and enjoy life in a different way.
